Sunday, August 25, 2013. Seeing balancing rocks, climbing over boulders, finding caves - all fun things to do on a hike in Echo Canyon at Chiracahua National Monument. So many balancing rocks. Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Slate is the new Stainless. Over the past few years we have done some things to the new (can it really be 6years old now? House in Tucson. Rooms painted, rock landscaping in the back yard, added furniture, etc. However, that was "doing" not "redoing" what was already here, so this is a first. Maybe slate will catch on as the new "must have" color for kitchen appliances and I will somehow be at the front of the curve on this. Monday, January 5, 2015. Everything tastes just right.

Friday, November 22, 2013. Where in the world? Just got back from an amazing trip cruising around the Mediterranean and back to the US on a transatlantic cruise. Being in Europe is like going back in time about 500 years, so it's nice to be back in the 21st century again. Countries visited: 6 - Italy, Greece, Turkey, France, Spain, and Portugal. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. It's almost the end of summer, but just had to get in the annual trip to Yellowstone. Unfortunately, a cold front went through the days when we were there, so it was a bit cold and not like summer at all. We did a few ranger walks. Met some slithering wildlife. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. It was fun to have all the kids and grandkids in Tucson last week. Tried to get all 8 g'kids together in one picture. Getting all to smile and look at the camera is quite an adventure. Wanted to get a picture of the 8 together before we add number 9 - Suzy's new one due in April. Saturday, December 28, 2013. Arriving a few days ahead of schedule,. But at least waiting until a few days after Christmas - grandchild #8. Born Dec 27. 7 pounds 6 ounces. This is #5 for Kevin and Caroline. His name is Caden Preston. Another C name to go with the older C boys. Keeping up the family tradition, Preston was my dad's middle name and is the middle name or first name of many boys in my extended family. What a great family! Thursday, December 26, 2013.
