Bound For Bolivia: November 2014
http://bound4bolivia.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. Melody is not Listless. We are approaching departure date on December 4th and Melody has kicked into full list making mode. We have pretty much completed packing the 10 duffle bags and have figured out how to get them and ourselves to the airport at 4 am thanks to a little help from my father who apparently gets up at 4 am every day anyway. The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. We have pretty much wrapped up delivering all the hampers to the families that we have left except for one who we will deliver this evening. I am passing over the ipad to Melody to write a bit about our delivery and visit with Sandra who she had taught during our time down here in 2010. Posted by Ron Anderson. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. I think you should get a Norwegian soccer jersey Ron, honour your roots, man! January 2, 2015 at 8:17 AM.
Bound For Bolivia: New Years Eve and Day
http://bound4bolivia.blogspot.com/2015/01/new-years-eve-and-day.html
The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. New Years Eve and Day. Who was kind enough to take a picture with us. We all were given the usual goofy new years hats and had a great time. There was of course the usual Bolivian fireworks war that went off at midnight as expected and lasted well into the wee hours of the morning. The rest of the day was spent trying to get the sand out of Logan and Jordan's hair following the sand fight in the river with Ivan. Thanks for that Ivan.
Bound For Bolivia: The Middle of the Middle of Nowhere
http://bound4bolivia.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-middle-of-middle-of-nowhere.html
The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. The Middle of the Middle of Nowhere. For those who are not familiar with Bolivian geography, here is a link to a map. After standing on several piles and taking a ton of pictures, we continued on to where the Dakar rally scheduled for a few days later was to start. Lucky for us, they had created some amazing carvings out of salt to prepare for the race. Posted by Ron Anderson. Sunday, January 11, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcom...

The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. Bound For Bolivia: March 2010
http://bound4bolivia.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. We Are Being Invaded. Everybody knows I love spending time around large groups of people, so I have resorted to finding a chair outside to get some cave time. Its not working very well however because somebody is always coming outside to wander or just to chat. This afternoon, we are headed over to Jorge and Vivianna's place for coffee and then we are at Kens place where his boys are cooking us a big supper since we will be heading home soon.
Bound For Bolivia: The Story Continues
http://bound4bolivia.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-story-continues.html
The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. The second day started off at 5:30 am where we piled into the Land Cruiser and headed off into the mountains and across rocky stretches of flat desert like areas. The scenery is fantastic all along the way with constant views like the following:. We greatly appreciated their signage requiring the flamingos to stay on the ground so we could take pictures of them. Day two ended by returning to our hostel for the night to find our room full of you...

The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. And We Thought the Snow Was Bad. Its the getting towards the end of the rainy season in Bolivia and if you have been following the news from South America lately, you will have noted that both Peru and Bolivia have had serious issues with flooding and mudslides. Ken's Wine Picks and News
Ken's Wine Picks and News. September 14, 2012. Now that the summer months have passed, I hope to be a better blogger. At the very least, I hope to be a little more consistent. The Wooster Inn is privileged to host winemakers from around the planet on a regular basis. Of course many of them hail from California. Mac McDonald, winemaker and owner of Vision Cellars has made at least a half dozen visits over the last decade. Small quantities with high quality makes each bottle a special treat. This cooling a...
