Afterwards we relived some of Clark’s memories of when he was here as a young man and went music hopping to 2 different venues and 3 different bands on Franklin street. The trials and tribulations of the Anderson clan in Bolivia. New Years Eve and Day. Who was kind enough to take a picture with us. We all were given the usual goofy new years hats and had a great time. There was of course the usual Bolivian fireworks war that went off at midnight as expected and lasted well into the wee hours of the morning. The rest of the day was spent trying to get the sand out of Logan and Jordan's hair following the sand fight in the river with Ivan. Thanks for that Ivan.

After standing on several piles and taking a ton of pictures, we continued on to where the Dakar rally scheduled for a few days later was to start. Everybody knows I love spending time around large groups of people, so I have resorted to finding a chair outside to get some cave time. Its not working very well however because somebody is always coming outside to wander or just to chat. This afternoon, we are headed over to Jorge and Vivianna's place for coffee and then we are at Kens place where his boys are cooking us a big supper since we will be heading home soon.
