the touchton family: Party like it's.... Christmas 2010!
http://thetouchtonfamily.blogspot.com/2010/12/work.html
Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Party like it's. Christmas 2010! This was the first corporate Christmas party I've ever been invited to and attended - needless to say, I was quite nervous! Josh was in town for, well, the first time ever really, so he was able to go with me. The party was supposed to be 60's/70's/80's themed, but only about half of the managers dressed up. The other half were in traditional Christmas dinner garb, including Josh and I. Josh, Kim, Abby and Dakota. Posted by Kim Touchton.

the touchton family: January 2010
http://thetouchtonfamily.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 23, 2010. This time last year. I had had two bridal showers already. We were receiving RSVP's. We did not have rings yet, and I did not have a veil. I was finalizing our wedding night hotel/transportation plans (we stayed at the Hyatt at the airport! We were still working some details (stump cups/table numbers/programs/chocolate Army men and Gators), but mostly done. I was yelling at Josh and his groomsmen to go get fitted for their tuxes. Our wedding was wonderful. We loved our day.

the touchton family: August 2010

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. What NOT to do. As a follow-up to my "I got a new job" post. here's a little lesson for anyone applying for jobs. I sent out a handful of resume's, but only one hotel called my references, which is the hotel I got the job at. I always include my references with my resume so they don't have to ask me for them. They're on a separate piece of paper as my resume. It's good to be proactive, you see. New bosses appreciate that sort of thing. Unless, of course, you list your husband's.

the touchton family: November 2009
http://thetouchtonfamily.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 30, 2009. Thanksgiving, a few days late. Hope everyone's day was fabulous. So we did, in fact, get up and watch the Macy's Parade. I coaxed Josh out to the couch with coffee, cinnamon rolls, and bacon. it worked. The rest of the day was filled with family dinners and a lot of laughs. Our first Thanksgiving was just as I'd hoped it would be. I'm excited about the many, many more to come. And I made the Pinecone Dip! Here's how it turned out:. It was really good! Part of the family. Cream ...

the touchton family: October 2009

Sunday, October 25, 2009. She's had one for awhile - they were on sale at Petsmart like a year and a half ago, so I bought it. I didn't make her wear it often, I promise. Just for some random pictures at home, and our engagement pictures, and during the BCS Championship game this past January when the Gators one the National Title. Look at this face! She's hilarious. And so adorably pathetic! Eventually tonight (with a several cookies to aid in my cause) she learned that she could indeed still move aroun...

the touchton family: Fall in Kentucky
http://thetouchtonfamily.blogspot.com/2010/11/fall-in-kentucky.html
Monday, November 15, 2010. I've never experienced fall. In Florida, we go straight from Summer to a-little-cooler-than-Summer that we call our "Winter.". So when the leaves started changing up here, I was fascinated. They don't change all at once on a tree - they change from one side of the tree to the other. The color sort of spreads. Josh has seen all this before, so he doesn't share my enthusiasm. But I just think it's the neatest thing. So I took a lot of pictures. Josh, Kim and Abby.

the touchton family: Turkey Day
http://thetouchtonfamily.blogspot.com/2010/12/turkey-day.html
Friday, November 26, 2010. We did our normal routine on this, my favorite holiday - got up early, had cinnamon rolls and bacon, then I watched the parade while Josh slept through it. Perfect little Thanksgiving morning. Except that's it's the first holiday I've EVER spent away from my family. Josh has missed bunches, this we know. But for me, this was kind of a huge deal. I handled it ok, keeping myself busy by cooking a big Thanksgiving dinner even though it was just the two of us. Josh, Kim and Abby.

the touchton family: July 2010
http://thetouchtonfamily.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 19, 2010. The ball is officially rolling. Josh is now a Kentucky resident! Took him about 12.5 hours to drive up over two days this weekend, staying in Nashville Saturday night. Josh used to make almost the exact same drive up to Fort Campbell, KY back in 2002-04, so it brought back lots of memories. They're also going to replace the old tub and a window for us. God really blessed us with this house, I'm telling you. Josh, Kim and Abby. Posted by Kim Touchton. Monday, July 12, 2010. For anyo...
