I miss your touch. I miss your smile. I miss your hugs. And your kisses. I miss your soft skin. As I came to terms that no one was there, I looked over at the flat rock at the other pond and remembered taking the picture of you and Jean sitting there one evening, a long time ago, after her birthday dinner.

What new places or experiences? Whatever it would have been, I’m sure it would have been wonderful. It’s a gorgeous day today. Not anywhere near as hot as it was on our wedding day. You were still a beautiful bride despite the humidity. And that smile…and those eyes…. I miss you and think about you everyday.

How “It” Started. Did I ever smoke? Was I exposed to smoke? Yes, second-hand smoke for about 6 years (ex-husband). Am I in pain? Some, but not much and not constantly.
