Please Love Me
http://pm.kenwroblewski.net/loveme.htm
Love me when I am sad and blue,. Please do so because you want to. Love me when I am angry,. That’s when I need your love so true. Love me during the stormy weather,. Because I hope you’ll love me forever. Love me when I let you down,. Even though my actions make you frown. Love me when I feel very sick,. Because you can smooth out the pain quick. Love me when I feel hopeless. You have that special touch and healing kiss. Love me when you are mad,. Because sometimes it makes me sad.

The Idiot Circle
http://pm.kenwroblewski.net/idiot.htm
Anyone who sees the title of this poem. Would wonder where such a title could come from. You see, I grew up in a small town. Back then there was only one place to hang out. If everyone behaved they weren’t going to be thrown out. In the downtown area of Kannapolis, North Carolina,. That was the place to be no where else would be finer! With all teenagers, excitement and. Hormones were at an all time high. We could drive around the square,. As engines were rambling aloud. This page created: 05/12/2005.

The Lights
http://pm.kenwroblewski.net/lights.htm
It was a warm November night. I’d just gotten home work. The sky was beautiful and clear with only a few clouds. The perfect night for my usual jog. We lived in the country. Surrounded by pastures, ponds, and cows. A place of complete tranquility. What a great place to live in privacy. On that particular night, our dogs were out playing. My son was riding his bike. I was working on my two-mile run. Around our circular driveway I was almost done. All of a sudden I stopped running. It rose above the pond w...

Bring Me Flowers
http://pm.kenwroblewski.net/bring_flow.htm
The smile on your face brightens my day. Bring me roses, lilies or carnations if you may. It’s you that I want each and every day. A rose is so soft and delicate. What a wonderful surprise to receive a dozen. But, it’s your sweet tender kiss for which I wait. Lilies are lovely in their full bloom. The beautiful blossoms are a sight to view. But, it’s your soft touch, I want only you. Carnations of a beautiful yellow color,. Full in bloom, my favorite one. But, it’s your love which makes my heart mellow.

Let's Rock & Roll
http://pm.kenwroblewski.net/rock_roll.htm
LET’S ROCK AND ROLL. What generation you’re from doesn’t matter. We all remember the music of rock and roll. Dick Clark, Soul Train oh what shows! Surely you remember the group of hairy men? ZZ Top is definitely here now and then. What about the Rolling Stones? They will keep making music until they all grow old. Do you remember the Monkeys? Even if they did or didn’t play and sing they were funky. Hey what about the sounds of Three Dog Night? Joy to the World, Eli’s Coming, and a bullfrog?

Our Neighbors
http://pm.kenwroblewski.net/neighbors.htm
An elderly couple lived next door. Their names were Mr. and Mrs. Billings. Effie Billings was always a bore. Mr Billings shared the vegetables from his garden. He was so sweet. He even gave my sister a rabbit we called Thumper. We loved riding in his pick-up to buy seeds for the next summer’s garden. Effie Billings was the one you had to watch. She was confined to her bed due to an illness. She was a jealous old woman and told us to stay out of their yard we were speechless! I’ll never forget about the 4.

My Old Oak Tree
http://pm.kenwroblewski.net/myoaktree.htm
MY OLD OAK TREE. On a trip returning to my childhood home,. I hoped that the old oak tree would not be gone. As we made the turn onto our street my heart was pounding. Would it still be there? The anxiety was building. We pulled into the old driveway. I was shocked the tree had been taken away. As I peered at the area where the trunk would’ve been,. My heart simply sank and I became frozen. So many of my childhood memories rested at that grassy area. I wanted to cry and became weary.

Sergeant Doman

A FAREWELL TO SERGEANT DOMAN. USING THE MUSIC FROM SHANNONDOAH. We’ve come from 21 far states,. All the way to Parris Island. We’ve all shared our fears and dreams. And our joys and time of woe,. On this Isle of challenge. Marine Corps, we’ve finally made it! Eight long weeks we’ve strived and struggled. We’ve learned to drill, to hold our heads up. To the sky, so very high. We’ve got pride, Marine Corps. We owe our thanks to many people,. But to one above them all. She stood alone, our only DI,.
