Just saw a bounty hunter taking a guy away in cuffs from an apprenticeship college right next to my work… It was bizzare cos you normally see people in cuffs with cops. Still in Canada – busy working away, but we now have a little boy who is the joy of our lives. He is 15 months old right now and growing fast! K and I are growing old! Wednesday, November 7, 2007. After more than 8 months of living almost within walking distance of North Korea, we finally made it to the Demilitarized Zone. It was kind of odd being allowed to visit one of the most heavily armed borders in the world - it seems as though a place like this would be off limits to tourists. But it’s not, so we went to check it out. ROK soldier guarding the border. The pebbles in the foreground is South Korea and the dirt in the background is North Korea.

The Pavement (Westlands roundabout, opposite 4 Aces Casino, Nairobi). Ksh 500 entrance on Friday and Saturday. Sick clubbing experience, maybe not much by European standards, but probably about the best fare you'll find in East Africa.
