Mama Orphans Children's Home. Stories from the orphanage. Here comes the rain….AGAIN! Joseph’s First Smile →. November 10, 2011. Today I spent the day at school! I joined the 45 younger kids who go to school in the compound where there are 3 small rooms used for this purpose. There are 3 teachers funded by another Swiss organisation called Sidecole. Mama Orphans Children's Home. Stories from the orphanage. First Impressions of the Orphanage →. Our First landmark Achieved. November 10, 2011. WE have reached our first target to raise enough money to buy the land for the school in Busia Kenya with another 2,000 in hand. The exchange rate definitely helped us but it was still good going to raise 2 million Kenyan shillings in about 3 months. It sounds like a fortune 2 million but in reality it’s about 13,000.00.
