Sravana Belgola est célèbre pour sa statue monolithique d'un saint Jain, en haut d'une colline.Je m'y suis rendu en février 2006, mois ou devait avoir lieu une cérémonie qui est organisée tous les douze ans. Hélas, j'ai dû laisser la place 5 jours avant le début du festival, toutes les chambres de ce minuscule village ayant été réservées à prix d'or, des mois auparavant. Mardi 14 décembre 2010.
