Saturday, August 30, 2008. Dani started school on Wednesday. We had Open House on Monday, and I wasn't sure how she would do. Her classroom is on the same hallway as her room for Sunday mornings at church. So, we walked in, she turned around and said, "Bye Bye, Mami! We might try letting her talk to him on the phone every evening before bed. She loves talking to Daddy on the phone, although we haven't quite made it past "Hi, Daddy Daddy" and "Bye bye, Daddy daddy". It's too late tonight to crack open a book. Thursday, November 29, 2007. Thanksiving is always a good excuse to get together with family. This year, we were celebrating at my parents' house. My bro and his lovely little family came down from AR to spend a few days. We loaded up the car and brought the dog along to spend a couple of nights. Despite some crazy tummy virus going around, we all had a good time. Andrew also went to school with us, and he and Tash ended up getting married. It was a nice little reunion and a walk down memory lane.

What do you get when you combine Candace Cameron Bure and Dancing with the Stars? I feel like I grew up watching Candace grow up on Full House and admired her as an actress.
