Mud Pies and Dump Trucks. Three boys, a dog and a stay-at-home mom.delicious hilarity ensues, right? Thursday, August 18, 2011. Sam, Max and I decided to check out the County Fair yesterday since the weather was cooler than usual (but definitely NOT cool! I had seen online that they offer monster truck rides on Wednesday and Thursday and thought my biggest boy would flip for that! And he really was in awe over how big they are! Much bigger up close in real life than in his books. He seriously said, "Wow!

Sam loves loves LOVES wearing his Darth Vader costume. I don't think it will make it to Halloween in five weeks since he has it on so often! But despite the tears, runs and dirt spots, I'll never say no when he asks to put it on. I took a picture of him the other day and of course he was ultra-serious ('cause that's how D.V. rolls! Super cute, right?

Mud Pies and Dump Trucks. Three boys, a dog and a stay-at-home mom.delicious hilarity ensues, right? Thursday, July 14, 2011. My Maxy-Pie turns one whole year old today and I have such a mix of emotions bubbling up in my heart! Maybe every mom feels this way on her children's birthdays? I've been thinking about the 14th non-stop for a few days now. Again, maybe every mom does this? Prepare yourselves . . . this is sure to be long-winded and more-than-slightly weepy! I asked Dave to replace the chain thin...

Mud Pies and Dump Trucks. Three boys, a dog and a stay-at-home mom.delicious hilarity ensues, right? Friday, May 20, 2011. Sam, Max and I carpooled with Ramita and Eric from next door to go to the zoo this morning. The weather was perfect . . . overcast and slightly chilly and the boys were so excited to get there! I think Sam and Eric had more fun running around together than actually looking at the animals, but as long as fun was had, who cares! Checkin' out Big Papa Lion with his "little" cubs. No int...

Mud Pies and Dump Trucks. Three boys, a dog and a stay-at-home mom.delicious hilarity ensues, right? Friday, February 18, 2011. We loaded up the double Bob with drinks, toys, diggers, blankets and babies and headed out to enjoy the gloriously warm sun and fresh air. It was strange to walk by piles of snow leftover from just a few weeks ago! And the little guy discovered grass and dirt for the first time in his short life (and he was VERY intrigued). They had a blast on the swings too! I *may* have had to...

Mud Pies and Dump Trucks. Three boys, a dog and a stay-at-home mom.delicious hilarity ensues, right? Sunday, January 30, 2011. Max wants to be on the go. He's definitely at that stage now where he knows everyone else can move around but he just can't figure out how it's done. He's been rolling and squirming his way around his blanket but is becoming SO frustrated wanting to do more. Any day now though . . . check out how high he gets his tiny hiney up in the air! Friday, January 28, 2011. The snow starte...

Reflections, by a Memory Hoarder: January 2012

Reflections, by a Memory Hoarder. Friday, January 27, 2012. And while the extra money has been a lifesaver, it's not all about the dough. I really. Like freelancing. Even when I complain about the book, which I do sometimes (five hundred pages of Native American historical fiction can be rough to get through if it's not your niche), it's still fun. I'm getting paid to read. I'm getting paid to find errors, which is like a puzzle to me. I know they're going to be there, but where? One Year Notched Off.

http://brentandracheleasley.blogspot.com/2015/03/fun-easter-craft-for-kiddos.html
Thursday, March 26, 2015. Fun Easter craft for the kiddos! I love doing at least one craft a week with my 3 year old, Rowen! He loves coloring, gluing things, and painting! I keep a pretty stocked bin filled with all kinds of things needed for doing fun projects with him. A few days ago we used some plastic Easter eggs and paint to make a fun picture to hang in his room( he likes to display his artwork ). A couple plastic Easter eggs. Take an egg half, dip in a paint color, and start stamping!

The Easley's: June 2014
http://brentandracheleasley.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 29, 2014. Rowen's swim lessons 2014. We put Rowen in swim lessons this summer for the first time. They were 2 weeks ago and lasted for 4 days. The lessons included getting comfortable with the water, learning how to get in and out of the pool using the stairs and ladder, using a kickboard, going under the water, blowing bubbles, and holding arms out in front while floating on tummy. He wanted to cling onto me the whole time. He did great when he would go under water and he loved the basketba...
