Monday, 25 March 2013. I just wanted to update on today, have had a lot of texts and calls and couldn't answer them all. We didn't get Freddie in today due to theatre running over. Also the drug kerri needs hasn't arrived yet as is coming from Japan. Unsure yet of when Freddie is happening but it will be when drug is available. Thanks for all prayers, please don't stop. Friday, 3 May 2013. Well what can I say. It has been an emotional day, strange too. The past few weeks have been the worst of our life( and we have had bad ones! But today we have been shown a gap in those dark dark clouds. On friday 23 march we were given very little hope that there were options for Kerri. We were told the chemo mightnt work and it would be a case of palliative treatment. But today that changed, The leukemia cells in her bone marrow have gone from 70% to less than 1%!

Thursday, 4 April 2013. The drug has arrived. We would like to thank all our family and friends from near and far who are supporting us at this difficult time. I think my kettle is going to explode from all the cups of tea being made! On the up side Make A Wish want to meet Kerri to see what dreams can come true for her. I will try and keep the blog going but I am sure you will all understand if i don't do it regularly. Sometimes writing things down makes it more real. Anita, Paul and Princess Kerri!

Sunday, 7 July 2013. Day 17 (round 2). Well we have had an eventful few days. Firstly on day 14 Kerri's liver bloods were elevated again. They ordered an ultrasound scan of the liver which we had on Thursday afternoon. Off course we didn't get the results that evening which led to an anxious evening for both myself and paul and very little sleep. On Friday morning, Kerri's amazing nurse Lorna told us that it was fine! Kerri also got to see her grandad! So there has been a few emotional reunions again!

A few weekends ago I took G to a cake show in Austin. We saw some amazing cakes and sampled a few sweet treats and one that G tried was a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcake and he loved it! So, when we were trying to figure out what sort of cupcake to take to Boy Scouts for his birthday, we decided to try making our own!
