http://kerriwinderdesigns.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 31 December 2011. Happy New Year to you all! Can you believe that 2012 is already here? I for one am very happy to see the back of 2011. I have never known a year like it. There just seemed to be bad news after bad news after bad news.so, you can sling your hook 2011.be gone.go on, off you go! My dad is over from little old England for a few months (yay! Now, I had to make a quick decision, yell out to warn dad or get my camera out? I chose the latter! Needless to say he was soaked through!

Thursday, 29 September 2011. My Big Fat Scrummy Bookmark! I have to be honest, I've been struggling this week (really struggling! To do anything creative. No matter how hard I tried nothing seemed to happen for me, not one brush stroke, not one little sketch, not even one silly little doodle.zero. But alas, just as I was about to collect up all my paints and pencils and my tatty old sketch pads and place it all on eBay for $7.50 My Mojo came waltzing back in (hurrah! Watching the world cup perhaps? I wan...

Friday, 21 December 2012. I know it's been a VERY long time since my last post and I will resume blogging regularly in 2013. You see I have had a very eventful year. I am now 30 weeks pregnant and could not be happier! I couldn't write my last post of 2012 without sharing something 'crafty' so here are some Christmas decorations that I made last week for my nephew's kindy teachers. I used felt, fabric and some beads. I love working with felt. Its so nice to use and so forgiving. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, 28 November 2011. I hope Isla likes it. x. Saturday, 26 November 2011. I screamed, Tom tried not to laugh and Hunter skulked off. It happened so so quickly, you know like when you watch those TV shows 'When animals attack? Thank god he didn't bite me this time, just sunk all of his claws into me. I was so shocked, this attack literally came out of nowhere. once again I screamed (this time more out of shock) and once again Hunter skulked off. The puncture wounds were quite deep, and blood was pour...
kerri winder designs: April 2012
http://kerriwinderdesigns.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 26 April 2012. I'm not quite sure why, but lately I have been inspired to design some Christmas cards! I know, I am as surprised as you are.it's only April for goodness sakes! Even though it is slightly bizarre, I have decided to just go with the urge to draw fluffy snowmen and Santa's and the like as last year when I should have been designing Christmas cards, I just couldn't. I had no desire to do so what-so-ever. Happy Friday everyone.I'm off to stuff the turkey! PS, 'Pet of the week' will b...

Just another WordPress.com site. I’m commiting this to keypad partly for all the people who’ve asked me for the recipe, but mostly to save myself from having to rifle through countless ratty pieces of refill paper looking for it twice a year! It’s Good Friday Night here at the moment, you still have heaps of time to get everything together for your own wreath for Easter Sunday. Go on, you won’t regret it.*. 2 1/4 tspn yeast. 1/4 cup warm water. 1/2 cup warm milk. 1/4 cup butter, softened. 1 1/2 tspn salt.

Just another WordPress.com site. I love a good fast bake. Outdone by the Golden Arches. →. Little has gone a bit froofy. Just a little bit. Not a lot. But my latest project. Quite a departure from the usual bold colours and sharp graphic prints that I so love. Today I went . . . flowery and lacey. Hmm. It started, if I’m honest, in 2004, when I bought a small amount of floral material from whatever that super-fantastic fabric warehouse is called on Sar St in Thorndon, Wngtn. As with many, many. You are c...

Just another WordPress.com site. Little has gone a bit froofy. Scratch that. →. Outdone by the Golden Arches. I had a McD’s macaron today. In a word? On the upside, Little continues to be a *mostly* wonderful wee chap, we managed to produce another wee man who is frighteningly similar looking to his brother (but waaaay more laid back! Husbo has already begun tearing down walls however, so a post detailing our reno’s may not be too far away after all! I hereby declare that once the baby and the not-so-bab...

Just another WordPress.com site. Outdone by the Golden Arches. Easter Breakfast Wreath →. In the intervening week, Old Man Donald’s (as Little calls it) has done something weird to the filling. It’s . . . Mock-creamy. The ickyest substance known to man. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). Just another WordPress.com site. Newer posts →. What’s in a name? You know you do it. We all do. Whether conciously or not, we name the machines in our lives. Our mighty family wagon was deemed a ‘Charlotte’ (most commonly called Lottie), and the Honda Civic that preceeded her was most emphatically a Charlie, although the gender of Charlie remains unknown even to this day. S/he was a curious beast. My mannequin, while not a machine also has a name; I guess this actually makes. In our house, the televisio...

Sunday, 17 February 2013. A Recent Commission and . Still Waiting! Thought I would share a recent commission that I did a little while ago. I really enjoyed drawing and painting this one. I have wanted to create a robot name picture for a while. I like the strong primary colours and like that hopefully the picture will still appeal as Hudson gets older. I will keep you posted. Friday, 21 December 2012. I used felt, fabric and some beads. I love working with felt. Its so nice to use and so forgiving.
Kerri, with a K | trying to be me
30 Days of Truth. Kerri, with a K. Trying to be me. June 25, 2012. By Kerri with a K. Because this actually happened…. Um The Boy has gone totally insane. Like really, totally, and completely insane. Like, I have no idea what to do with this kid anymore. Like, he’s so freaking smart that he may need to go to school now instead of waiting until he’s of age. All right, guys I’m done now. I have your shirt so now we can go. Who IS this kid? And NOW what do I do with him? I’m just saying. June 2, 2012. IR...
