Meeting lots of local elderly people on my walks and exchanging bows, answering their questions (they all know me somehow, and always want to know where i’m going and what i’m doing.), and receiving gifts, food, etc. for my homestay family (yes, this all happens on typical walks.). The neighborhood cow whose eyes follow you the whole way down the street.
