After our day of tranquility, we watched an exciting "futbol" match, Germany vs. Portugal (GO GERMANY! Shhhh, don't tell Daouda). Euro 08 has become a nightly tradition. While most of us watched TV and played cards, others got tattoos. It was a slow and painful process (the bargaining that is.). Luv to big sis from little bro!

After what felt like two days of travel, we all gathered together in Dakar (all accounted for! And ran errands during the morning then headed to Keur Sedaro. Prefix: 011 221 77. Some of us had the advantage of speaking French, while others relied on sign language, the results varied greatly. Overall their hospitality was a universal language, and something we all enjoyed. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Some interesting observations that I've made (obviously from a western perspective) about Senegal:. The entire place shuts down from 1pm to 3pm.
