Saturday, October 8, 2011. In the kitchen we added four can lights around the room and these two pendants. Over the island that I mentioned in our kitchen before and after post. Since the old pendant over the sink didn't match we took it down and put a another recessed light in it's place. With the sink in front of a window we prefer that the can light does not obstruct your view of our football field of a front yard. This is our little bookshelf with games beside this table). We went back to Lowe's.

Wednesday, October 5, 2011. A solid wood matching headboard and foot board, missing the side rails. We added a block under each side rail nailed to the bed to help support the weight so it is not all being held by the bracket and also to help line everything up. We also needed some smaller brackets to attach the ledge on the inside of the rails that the slats would sit on. After the railed were attached, we ripped a 2X4 through the table saw in half and flipped the bed on its side to attach our ledge.

Thursday, January 14, 2010. On Monday I came home to these in the front yard. They are part of a fundraiser for the youth group at church. They are going to the Dominican Republic in February. When the flamingos arrive in your yard, you pay to have them remove and then you get the pleasure of choosing who they go to next. So thank you Beth and Matt, we enjoyed them, but are glad they are gone. They are pretty cute though. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Katie GOT A CAR!

Gave Camryn this adorable pair of pink cowgirl boots for a baby shower gift (along with a pink stick pony which she loves! 160; Of course newborns can’t wear boots, and they were a size 5. We have been waiting patiently for Camryn’s walking skills and foot size to catch up to these boots, and they finally do! This girl was walking all over the house in her boots…didn’t take long at all to figure it out!

Here is the glimpse that I got of the crib skirt.I LOVE how these fabrics look together! Especially with the pom-pom trim! Thursday, September 17, 2009. Camryn loves music. It is one of the sweetest things about her. A sweet tune can make her smile when nothing else will. :). A couple of examples:. At Kevan and Katie's wedding, a family friend, Randy York. Played guitar for the pre-wedding music. *Side note - Y'all, he is amazing!
