Royals Notes: Brown and Bale. Wednesday, October 03, 2007. On Monday, I wrote that Kansas City's 2007 Pitcher of the Year would not win "by virtue of being the best of a very poor group of candidates." Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the team's runs batted in leader this past season, Emil Brown. Despite having the option of giving playing time to younger and less-expensive outfielders like Shane Costa. Trotted out on an everyday basis. Kevin's Royals Blog: KRB reports from Hammons Field!

http://kevinagee.blogspot.com/2006/07/krb-reports-from-hammons-field.html

KRB reports from Hammons Field! While the Royals were in the process of narrowly taking down the Cardinals at the new Busch Stadium, Kansas City's Double-A affiliate, Wichita, was busy doing the same to the Springfield Cardinals, squeaking out a 4-3 victory at Hammons Field in Springfield, Mo. It was a hard-fought contest, as the Wranglers had to overcome a 3-0 deficit to improve to 5-3 in the Texas League's second half. However, the fun began long before any of the players took the field, as. Pomeranz s...

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the team's runs batted in leader this past season, Emil Brown. The Royals appear to be considering the idea of bringing back the 33-year-old Brown for a fourth season in Kansas City.

http://kevinagee.blogspot.com/2006/07/gordon-has-great-day-krb-reports-from.html

Gordon has a great day, KRB reports from game two. For the second time in as many nights, the Wranglers and the Cardinals put on a thrilling show at Hammons Field, complete with a clutch three-run homer in the top of the ninth by Dee Brown. Some stellar defense, and a young right-hander making his Double-A debut. The two clubs couldn't have picked a better time to impress; not only was a record crowd of 10,139 on hand, but I got to watch most of the game from the press box. S RBI single that gave the Car...

Kevin's Royals Blog: Mark Teahen and Alex Gordon are cool

http://kevinagee.blogspot.com/2006/08/mark-teahen-and-alex-gordon-are-cool.html

Mark Teahen and Alex Gordon are cool. After torching Oakland pitching for five hits in his first eight at-bats over the four-game weekend series, Mark Teahen. Became such an unstoppable force in July and August of 2000. That we can say he’s only hitting .325/.386/.563 so far in August is quite funny to me, if only because it’s been a long time since a Kansas City player’s OPS being over .900 represented a slump. Doing, but in what he. Among players who collected at least 400 plate appearances in 2005, Te...

Breaking 100: May 2009

http://breaking-100.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

A rarely updated blog for a die-hard Royals fan. Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Random Thoughts from Tonight's Game. Pregame: Why aren't more games on HD? Every MLB game should be available in HD. The Park Hill Freshman baseball team lost to Lee's Summit West today. The score was 23-2. Let's hope the Royals have a better day. Middle 2nd: Nice to see the Royals get something done with 2 outs. But, Aviles is completely worthless right now. Really? Two words for you Mike: I29 North. Where were we after 2 innings?

A rarely updated blog for a die-hard Royals fan. Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Breaking 100: Dotel for. Who? So, Dayton Moore finally pulled the plug on the Dotel trade. I think it's fair to say that Royals fans were hoping for a little more sparkle in this trade. The Royals acquired Kyle Davies from the Braves for Dotel. Yes, the Royals need starting pitching. But Davies hardly inspires confidence. First, no Royals fans have heard of him, and second, 5.76 ERA this year is hardly exciting. Monday, July 30, 2007.

Breaking 100: Getting Better...

http://breaking-100.blogspot.com/2009/04/getting-better.html

A rarely updated blog for a die-hard Royals fan. Thursday, April 16, 2009. That Buck grand slam sure helped. Yeah, it sucks that Farnsworth struggled again yesterday, and Teahen got burned for his aggressiveness. But even after being down, the Royals showed some fight and refused to go quietly. We're only 9 games in, but things are looking good so far. The Royals should do well in Texas, with their 1-2-3 pitchers going. Let's keep first place in sight! Posted by Ron Hostetter. http://breaking-100.blogspot.com/2009/04/im-baaaacccckkkk.html

A rarely updated blog for a die-hard Royals fan. Monday, April 06, 2009. This blog was started in 2006 as a daily update to track the Royals in hopes that they would *not* lose 100 games. Buddy Bell was the manager, and Scott Elarton was the Opening Day starter. We've come a long way since 2006. Over the last few years, posts here became fewer and farther between. That will probably continue to be true, but we do hope to have some activity here this season. Posted by Ron Hostetter. Good News, Bad News.

A rarely updated blog for a die-hard Royals fan. Thursday, October 25, 2007. Breaking 100: Trey Takes Over. First - my apologies for not updating the game results yet. I started a new job, and things have been pretty hectic over the past month. I will make it a priority to finish out the season very soon. There aren't a lot of folks who know much about Hillman. In his brief visit to KC, he seemed like a no-nonsense baseball guy; a good communicator with a willingness to adjust his gameplan as needed.

Breaking 100: Checking Out...

http://breaking-100.blogspot.com/2008/05/checking-out.html

A rarely updated blog for a die-hard Royals fan. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. It's become painfully obvious that I just can't keep this blog updated every day. So, I've decided to quit posting the daily updates. They don't really provide much value, and I don't have the time or energy to write the interesting and poignant commentary as I had intended. Are writing incredible Royals content that I can't compete with. I will continue to blog at my personal blog. But even there, the posts are few and far between.

Our Waking Life...

Sunday, March 24, 2013. This will be the last post of our stint in Perth. Five months after leaving Perth. We are finally closing the chapter. As we comb through one month's worth of pictures, we felt both nostalgic and relieved. Nostalgic because it felt like such a distant past, although it has only been a few months. We clearly miss Perth. Relieved because we are finally moving on. (reads, "Let's hope the new blog. The Last Church Services. Jaydon's Dedication and Full Moon Celebration.
