Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Windows to the soul. In case you haven't noticed, I've been messing around with portraits lately. Trying to get closer and closer. Which is hard when your kids are so darned wiggly. And start crying and dodging and beating themselves about the head as soon as they see your camera. *sigh*. Those super shiny eyes. And Owen's are especially fun to look at. They're just. well, huge. Really. And so expressive. He's smiling and laughing now which completely slays. Me I get nothing done.

Friday, August 14, 2009. Three more days until we leave on our Big Trip through Utah and Idaho. I'm taking the kids. By myself. Please pray for me. And wish me luck. . Actually, I'm super excited. Aside from being "on call" 24 hours a day for the next three weeks, I think it'll be a blast! 160;I remember my Mom taking us kids to Seattle (or was it Portland? Friday, March 27, 2009. Time Out For Women. Ok so I'm a little late in getting this out. So last weekend (March 20-21) was time Out for Women in Orlando. My mom, sisters and I went together. We got a hotel for Friday night and had a wonderful time. Oh dear - NOT a good experience. but afterwards we went to The cheesecake Factory to get yummy cheesecake to have later in the evening. 1) I know what it is to be lonely. 2) I know that the scriptures contain truths. 3) I know that appearances can be decieving.

Just the Six of Us. Wednesday, February 8, 2012. It's Been a While. I rarely write anything anymore. It's sad really. Eve is almost six months old, and I have practically written nothing. She starting rolling over about a month ago, and I suspect crawling will come soon enough. Much sooner than it did with Sami or Drew. Sami just sat around, immobile and happy, till she was 11 months old, for crying out loud! Eve doesn't have this problem. Plus she's bald. Eve doesn't seem to have this issue either.

Some of you may have heard about the fires in Oklahoma on Thursday, April 9 th. So, this happened in our ward boundaries. There were actually two different wild fires in our ward boundaries. 35-40 houses were destroyed in these fires, and nobody in our ward lost their homes. Even though some of their neighbors did. Friday, November 27, 2009. For a husband who doesn't mind bucking tradition and spending the day at the beach. We ate turkey sandwiches and had the beach all to ourselves. It was a lovely, relaxing.
