Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Today is Tommy's birthday. I wanted to get a picture of him looking all dapper in his new outfit, but he wasn't interested. One year ago today we went to the hospital at 5 am just the two of us, and we came home with this whole other person! The four days that each of my babes joined me are four of the greatest days of my life. It is such a gift to receive a brand new little person all your own. I tell myself I love the outdoors. And I try to spend time out in them. But sometimes they really kick my butt! Jenn, her niece, and the Tucketts went to hike lower Lena. We'd read all about it. An easy hike with gentle switchbacks. About 4 miles roundtrip. What it didn't mention was it was switchbacks up for most of the three miles one way. The kids did great. So did the dogs. So did Robin and Jeremiah. So did Jenn. I, on the otherhand, thought I was going to die. June 12, 2011 at 10:23 PM.

We had our 14th anniversary on the 29th and to celebrate we took a helicopter ride on Friday and went to lunch. The weather was awesome and so was the experience. We flew from Boeing field to Snoqualmie Falls going over the LDS temple, Marisa's parent's house, my practice, the falls, the Space Needle along with Bellevue, Seattle, Microsoft and Ballard. Sunday, April 22, 2012. Yesterday, we had a lot of fun. I had a good friend in the hospital in Everett that I wanted to go and see, so we decided to make a day of it. My mom came with us and we left pretty early and headed out. We had a great visit with my friend (I sure wish they lived closer! Allison is her mother's daughter and had to direct us where to go at all times (and it was driving ME crazy - I'm supposed to be the leader! She's such a goof. I figure, I'm on a roll, I better keep it going.
