The kids all got together today to play in the leaves in Grandma’s back yard. They had so much fun throwing them up, at each other, jumping into them, and even hiding in them. By the end of the hour the once huge pile of leaves that once was there taller than any of the kids was left as a small mound of crumpled leaves. Links to this post.

The day has finally come for Katelyn when she can join all of the other kids at school. For the last several years she has cried when she sees them going to school and I have had to tell her she had to wait. The summer seams to be going by fast for Katelyn and Shawn so far and school starts in less than a month. They have been enjoying the sunshine and playing outside, swimming lessons and just about everything kids do during the time off from school. Hey - at least it is not a year in between this time. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Can you believe that December is over? I think it was all a blur. It goes way too fast. Here is a peek of some of our fun. We love making a gingerbread house every year. However, next year I think we are ready to each make our own smaller houses. Kaylee and Kyler had their piano recital. They both played great! We enjoyed a family party at Emily's where Santa came to visit us. We had a great Christmas with new jammies! But, we still had a great time visiting and playing. Today...

Steven bought Matthew a new baseball mit and wanted to brake it in before his 2nd game tomorrow. They had been playing for a while and Matthew was really have a great time when all the sudden Matthew got popped in the face with the ball! Needless to say that did not go over to well. Thursday, May 21, 2009. This is their Lyrical dance. They placed 3rd. The song they danced to was We Belong. Another picture from the Show Dance. The Song they dance to was Citizens and Soldiers. Kelcy holding a sign in the Show Dance. The show Dance is with all the girls that take dance. This is their Jazz dance which took 1st Place! The song the danced to was Mercy. We are finally back!
