Tuesday, March 22, 2011. I am so excited for Jeremiah's first birthday! I can not believe my baby is going to be ONE! We are having a BBQ at our house to celebrate him with friends and family. And its all about John Deere. I think I'm going to see green and yellow forever! I've been searching every store for anything and everything for this party (the cheap way though). Monday, August 22, 2011. We are excited to announce that Baby Meek #2 will be joining our family aroung February 29, 2012! So far my pregnancy has been the same as with Jeremiah. Thursday, April 21, 2011. Last weekend we went to the Asparagus Festival in Stockton. It is really fun to taste the delicious things they make with asparagus. We were able to attend last year with my family when were visiting Ripon for Jeremiah's baby shower. It is so fun to start comparing events from year to year. However, a part of me is sad that we are past a lot of your firsts! I am looking forward to Easter with Jeremiah this year. He was born the day after Easter last year. Posted by The Meeks.

Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Life of a one year old. Ah boo while playing peek-a-boo. Animal noises- kitty, lion, snake, monkey, doggie. Hello while holding his hand to his ear like a telephone or when the phone rings. Wave hi and bye. Raises hands when you ask how big are you. Signs the words more and please. Going for walks in his new wagon. Being chased and tickled. Chewing on the coffee table or crib. Listening and trying to play the guitar and piano. Getting out of the bath. Drinking from a sippy cup.

Monday, February 21, 2011. Jeremiah will be racing in the diaper derby. I am so excited to see how he does! Jon will be running in the 8k race. We will be enjoying the parade with family and enjoying the short walk to the carnival. What a fun weekend to live in a small town! Please pray for the rain to hold off for a while! She reminded us that although being a mother is SO important and fulfilling she didn't want us to forget about the personal goals we have for OURSELVES (Something mothers don't often think about anymore! Thursday, April 7, 2011. Favors- each kid got to take home a ball- I think they all loved it! I feel so blessed to be Jeremiah's mom. He is such a sweet, funny, curious, talkative, loving, adorable little boy. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching him grow this past year and can not wait to see what the next year holds. Monday, March 28, 2011. I've been making a lot of things lately with my sewing machine. Some things for Jeremiah's birthday (pictures will come later) and these curtains! Jon got me a sewing table so I am able to keep my machine out which make it easier to sit down and make something! I got this beautiful home fabric for $2 a yard! So total cost was only $12!
