Oh the Wonder of "It All"! Tuesday, August 10, 2010. And God Provided Wheezie. Providence is the care God takes of all existing things." - John of Damascus. Wheezie, the old white gentleman with the sputter and cough came into our lives unexpectedly but right when he was needed. He wasn't much to look at and his idiosyncrasies took getting accustomed to, but he was reliable and available. God must love Wheezie too, as Sunday at church, our pastor pulled my husband aside and said that someone had come by ...

Ponderings: November 2009
http://theosebes-ponderings.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Oh the Wonder of "It All"! Sunday, November 29, 2009. On my Knees in the Shadow. In the shadow of the cross, I kneel in thanks. There is nothing in life that should ever cloud this view of grace. These light and momentary afflictions should even be a cause of thanks, for they are storing up for us an eternal weight of glory. Though our knees may be worn and achy from constant prayerful kneeling, is this not the position that God desires? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Blog is Moving! Last year as a teen.

At times, they would beg me to Take the baby now! Because they could bear it no longer. My human heart was always compelled by their anguish, always moved by the extremity of their pleas. When a mother in labor cries out, I can’t do this! Mark Twain said, C...

THE ADOPTION JOURNEY OF 3 SISTERS WHO NEED(ed) A FAMILY. And our own adventure in compassion…. Archive for November, 2010. On November 13, 2010 by heart4kids. We're a happy family! It was exactly two years ago that Melissa and I, and Trevor, traveled to Ukraine to finalize the adoption process. We had no idea that we would spend a whole month there in order to finish! Nor did we know that it would take three more months until we actually got the girls home. Nothing is ever as simple as advertised!
