Lunch tastes better with some blog. Friday, April 27, 2007. We broke our oven! Again This time a bottle of olives broke. Not the ones in regular olive juice. of course, but the ones in olive oil. Anyway, the pictures above are of Jen cleaning the olive slime off the fridge door. She had wanted to give the door a good cleaning anyway, but couldn't usually quite get it under the faucet. So, that's what's going on here: a broken fridge door. My name is earl. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Seoul, South Korea.

Lunch tastes better with some blog. Wednesday, January 3, 2007. When the stock market crashed and the US went into a depression in 1929, he was already 16 years old, oh my god. When World War II started, he was 28. He was actually too old to serve in combat and ran a physical educatioin program on a battle ship. When the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, he was 50! When Nixon resigned he was 60. When my sister was born, he was 70. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Seoul, South Korea.

Lunch tastes better with some blog. Friday, May 2, 2008. What I Did on My Spring Break. I had a few days off, so a work friend, Mina, and I decided to go to Korea's second largest city, Busan. It's on the south coast of Korea, 3 hours away from Seoul on the bullet train. People call it the San Francisco of Korea. It's beautiful. The downtown area of Seomyeon looks like this from my hostile window:. Korean people love neon, and Seomyeon is one of the most heavily neon-ed places I have ever seen:. I had a ...

Lunch tastes better with some blog. Thursday, July 17, 2008. This is what you get when you show up to your flight really late: a business class upgrade and more legroom than you know what to do with. Flying business class has ruined me. I refuse to fly coach ever again. What will I do without my hot towel, my reading materials or. I wanted to ask them to just fly around a little longer, it's such a short flight between Seoul and Tokyo. Here's me at a Japanese shrine thing (Meji-chingu I think? We wanted ...

Lunch tastes better with some blog. Thursday, May 24, 2007. I think I have fooled myself into thinking it's freezing. This is not my fault. Every time I leave the house, and this is often, everyone on the street is dressed for arctic winter. Serioulsy. Huge goose-down jackets and wool scarves. Everyone wears knit hats; most, gloves. I wander around in a skimpy track jacket and a bare head. Are these people really that cold? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Seoul, South Korea. View my complete profile.
