I am pursuing a degree in Political Science and hope to graduate next spring. I am from Nashville and miss it while on hiatus at UT. I don’t think there is a good solution for a slave if his master was not good to him. About the best solution would be to run away, but where to? And if he gets caught, it would only become worse for him. I think it all comes back around to the notion that slavery is not a fun time and it never has been.
