Like A Matt Outta Hell: I'm in the mood for...
http://mattonanisland.blogspot.com/2007/10/im-in-mood-for.html
Tuesday, October 2, 2007. I'm in the mood for. It happens all the time. You come home from work, school, a date or something else and you are in a certain mood. You're depressed. Heavy metal won't fit the mood. You've went out with the most amazing person you have ever met. You've got to find some music that will help you stay in that place of splendor. I often find that my mood dictates what I want to hear on my computer or radio. When I just want to think and relax, I often put in Sun Kil Moon's. Subsc...

http://brandononscience.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 1, 2007. A geologist, a geochemist and a geophysicist are sitting in their office when someone comes in and asks, "What's 2 2? The geologist responds, "Oh, around four.". The geochemist says, "Four plus or minus two.". The geophysicist says, "What number do you want? WHAT NUMBER DO YA WANT? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Dose of Knowledge. Like A Matt Outta Hell: The Guitar gods Shine Down
http://mattonanisland.blogspot.com/2007/09/guitar-gods-shine-down.html
Tuesday, September 25, 2007. The Guitar gods Shine Down. A great guitarist is so hard to find. Yet, mighty Zeus has bestowed upon a select few the ability to create pure magic out of this often misused instrument. David Gilmour, legendary guitarist of Pink Floyd, and Steven Wilson, the superb guitarist of Porcupine Tree, have both been given this amazing ability. Recently, I bought the David Gilmour live DVD, Remember That Night-Live from the Royal Albert Hall. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Walking in Faith: March 2008
http://bethanyharbison.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30, 2008. I said all that to say this: This Christianity business is nothing new to me. I know the stories, many of them backwards and forwards. I know the characters, sure. But I also sit here on this Sunday morning and admit that all the knowledge I have — and many of you have as well — doesn’t mean too much. It’s only one piece of the puzzle. For as my friend takes it all in with wide eyes and a big smile, I have realized that my own wonder, my own awe has faded as I have grown older.

The Hollingsworth Uncertainty Principle: February 2008
http://brandononscience.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 15, 2008. On the Subject of Science. Many of us cast votes based on religion, economics, war, peace, international relations and many other factors. But I bet very few pay attention to candidates' knowledge and application of science. Some presidential administrations have been friendly to scientists and researchers, other not so much. There's more from MSNBC science blogger Alan Boyle here. Friday, February 8, 2008. Columbus Sails a New Ocean. From MSNBC: Test your shuttle knowledge.

http://chantygaming.blogspot.com/2008/02/gdc-revisited.html
Sorry, Mario. But the blog is in another castle. Sunday, February 24, 2008. Well the 2008 GDC has come to a close. Gears of War 2 was announced as expected, but nothing earthshattering has been revealed about the game yet. The trailer is very awesome, even if it does not show off any in-game footage. Ninja Gaiden 2 is going to be ace as well. Talk about a bloody game. Welp, Toshiba finally pulled the plug on their HD-DVD format this past week. What does that mean for you, the avid movie buff?
