After Rabi's choice to follow Christ, he began to really love people and put them before himself. I am challenged by the care he showed to the lost sheep and the ruthless trust he puts in God. Tomorrow I get to meet the people I am about to spend 6 months with in India. They will be my temporary family, and I am so excited. 8220;This morning I awoke to the sound of Tibetan Buddhists on their way to morning prayer. Technically, they have today off, so prayer started at 7 instead of 5. Lucky them. Lucky me. I spent the night at a monastary. It's very large, and apparently well-funded. They're constructing a lot. It's been a roller coaster few weeks and I'm sorry for the delay. I have had things stolen, watched my sister return to the USA, and had a more unpredictable degestive tract than I would ever wish on my worst enemy. Things have been a challenge here recently, but God is infinitely good and he's given me the grace to be thankful in the midst of all this. The weekends are usually somewhat restful, but this past weekend was not. We had a team of interns from Delhi Bible Fellowship come to lead the youth, and they were awesome! My hope is for an opportunity to start doing a Bible study with some of the older guys. They get lots of devotionals, but very little actual teaching.
