First the child must be declared abandoned. This is a very lengthy process unless the mother of the child signs the documents herself which rarely happens. Follow along on my adventures as I work with kids in Peru. Monday, December 26, 2011. We celebrated Christmas on the night of the 24th. It started with a short message from Avis, then we had a nice dinner at 8:00, followed by hot chocolate and fruit bread. After we were all done eating we opened gifts. Kevin's Oregon Coast, 2011. A solo cyclotour down the Oregon coast. Monday, May 30, 2011. A change of title. A very quick update-with details in a later post.After reviewing the weather forecasts on the Oregon coast, I decided that rain, cold,hail and wind did not provide the most fun riding experience. It looked like the weather wouldn't change much for the next 7 days, at least. So I turned north and headed home. I got home Sunday night. I have a few pix and some more stories, and will post later.
