On Friday, we as a group of 26 International Development students, or INDEVOURS as we have been affectionately termed, hosted a most esteemed guest speaker – Roy Sesana. Roy originates from New Xade in the central Kalahari of Botswana and works as a traditional medicine man within his San community. In 1991 he co-founded the First People of the Kalahari. INDEVOURS 2012 with Roy Sesana.

Waiting on the World to Change. Musings from an indev student. My hometown is the thriving metropolis of Amherstburg Ontario (a pretty small town south-west of Windsor). I love everything about Amherstburg but as development work is a little larger in scale than small town Ontario I know that my future lies in a larger city, hopefully Ottawa one day. But for right now I live in a cheap student apartment in Waterloo while I finish my undergrad (graduating in June 2012. Let's see what else? I Can't Wait To.
