Loving life and my road bike. September 5, 2016. DALMAC 2016: amazing sums it up. Five days on the bike, East Lansing to Mackinaw City, with nearly perfect weather. It was an amazing way to end the summer. There were cookies. Sweetie-licious cookies. DALMAC rest stop cookies. Good Hart General Store cookies. Lunch stop carrot cake. And Cliff bars and Gatorade. But it’s even better riding with friends! Early morning breakfasts. Leisurely afternoons. Evenings playing euchre. Losing track of time. Some love...

DALMAC day two: never-ending wind makes it a challenge | BikingAnne
https://ironanne.wordpress.com/2016/09/01/dalmac-day-two-never-ending-wind-makes-it-a-challenge
Loving life and my road bike. September 1, 2016. DALMAC day two: never-ending wind makes it a challenge. Second 70 mile day with wind that just wouldn’t quit. Hills, too. As the day wore on, I moved to the small ring. Just didn’t have the gas to power up after 60 tough miles. I think we’re going to sleep well tonight. We rolled through tiny towns today. Fun little lunch stop in Lake George where we inhaled our meals! Looking forward to a shorter riding today tomorrow! DALMAC day one: off to the races.

Addition and Subtraction | starstolenwritings
https://starstolenwritings.wordpress.com/2015/01/17/addition-and-subtraction
Writing, Family and More. Writing Challenges and Prompts. So I worked through a few thousand words of the text (yay! And added some 400 words or so. Now that I’m rereading what I’ve added, I’m pretty sure I’m actually going to cut the whole scene…. So let’s see here…. Previous amount: 500 words. Editing tonight: 2500 words divided by 2 = 1250 words. This post: call it 250. So I’m sitting around 2000 for the month towards my artificial goal of 10,000 words. Keep on writing folks🙂. Writing, Family and More. Writing Challenges and Prompts. NaNoWriMo 2014 – Day 28: 2135. A keen observer will notice that I have forgotten to post a few days here. No worries though, I didn’t get much writing done there anyway. Thursday was Thanksgiving of course, so I didn’t write. Not that I wouldn’t have written under normal circumstances, but I never end up writing on Thanksgiving in general. Maybe I’ll change that sometime in the future… maybe. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Letters from Camp: Day 1. No rain at least | starstolenwritings

Writing, Family and More. Writing Challenges and Prompts. Letters from Camp: Day 1. No rain at least. The day overall was pretty uneventful. We went swimming, had a campfire and roasted marshmallows. Really nothing too special…. Assuming he didn’t try to eat us anyway. I’ve decided to put my efforts this month into learning about dragons as a result though. Clearly with a specimen so close, it will be a good place to start. Who knows, maybe I’ll even get to meet him. Your son, David. In Letters from Camp.

Writing, Family and More. Writing Challenges and Prompts. These bits are built off of prompts that others have posted. I’m keeping them here to have a simple place to organize them. From Today’s Author. Micro-writing prompt #9 (use Moonlight, Translucent and Sapphire in a sentence, paragraph or poem). I had nothing to defend myself with except for my car keys and a tiny baton that was attached to them that was supposedly the first line of defense in a life or death situation. I was a little more comf...
