Ballroom Dancing
http://www.kevinmunns.com/index_files/dancing.htm
Same again. John Wood was right, my left side was always down a bit. On of my favourite Blackpool shots, this one from the Closed British / British National Championships or whatever they call it now. This was at the Celtic Classic in Tralee, southern Ireland, an IDSF competition. This is probably my favourite photo, taken at Frimley Park during the run-up to Blackpool. And then there’s Blackpool. This was the British Open 2005.
Disgusting Chinese Foods
http://www.kevinmunns.com/index_files/disgustingfood.htm
Pigs hearts. At a large supermarket in Wuchang, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. I first saw these in a supermarket in Wuhan, and ever since wondered what people did with them, or if they really ate them at all. And frogs. Even Waitrose can’t beat this for freshness. I’m not sure a Still breathing counter would be much of a winner in the UK. Pigs ears. I‘ve eaten it a few times since. Like bacon rashers without the meat. Or the fat. Pretty much like the rind I guess. Don’t fancy some pigeon? To choose from...
SW Minorities University
http://www.kevinmunns.com/index_files/minda.htm
SW China Minorities University, Chengdu. Or; The ‘South West University for Nationalities’,. If you prefer the official Chinglish name. Don’t start me off on that one. What do you do when you finish all the classes at university but still don’t feel you’ve learned much? Go to another one. Still think my Chinese is rubbish. This is the main open area of the teaching floor, which is often used by students who have one-to-one classes. This is where things start to differ a bit from Sichuan University. A...
Learning Chinese
http://www.kevinmunns.com/index_files/learningchinese.htm
I learned Spanish, French, Italian, Swahili and Timbuctooian, so I’m up for it. The difference between Chinese and other languages is that there is no alphabet. The words are, if you like, a series of small pictures. All sounds a bit un-necessary to me, I’m just going to learn speaking and forget the writing. Given the agro of learning Chinese characters plenty of people try this. I’m going to kill two birds with one stone and relocate my job to the Beijing office. The end result is, I have found, that p...
Travelling
http://www.kevinmunns.com/index_files/travel.htm
I decided that all the travel blogs were a waste of space, so I thought I’d just put up a few pictures of my 10 favourite places that I’ve been to so far. Hopefully if I’m less broke in the future I might get the chance to change it about every now and then. The warriors are the main attraction in Shaanxi Province, but not too far away in the confusingly named Shanxi Province is a small ancient town called Ping Yao. I got some of my best ‘old China’ photo’s here. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but th...

Domingo, 6 de diciembre de 2015. This week I’ m going to write about my evaluation of blogging experience. In my opinion, I think that the blog is a good option for to learn English, because we can practice the language, we can learn new words and improve the vocabulary that already we have and with blog we can know more about our classmates for example their families, hobbies, places that they have visited, their expectations about the degree, etc. Enviar por correo electrónico.
