Kevin's Nature Blog. I was taking the 11:00 am ferry from Tsawwassen to Schwartz Bay when a loon near the boat decided to take flight. I captured a bit of it with my camera in burst mode with a shutter speed of 1/800. You can get a good sense of the cartoon “running on water” take-off.
