Kevin Status - Back at Union and loving life!

On Feb 5 at 7:02pm an F4 Tornado struck Union University in Jackson TN. Kevin was trapped with six other guys under 2 to 3 tons of concrete/wood/steel. He was the 5th guy rescued at 10:45pm. The last guy was pulled from the hole at about midnight. Kevin left the hospital on 3/11. He returned to class on 3/20. He graduated in 2009. He is now married and living in Jackson while is new wife finishes her degree at Union.

Kevin Status - Back at Union and loving life! Monday, March 17, 2008. Thanks to those that continue to visit here. I am sorry for the lack of updates. I have been out of the country on business. Of course we are thanking God every day for his recovery. Kevin went to Chattonooga over the weekend to spend some time with David. He was very excited to spend some time with his close friend - and to see him getting better. Matt is also progressing - and we hope to see him when we go to Jackson this weekend.

Tuesday Jason and Debbie went to the Memphis Zoo. It was a beautiful afternoon. Jason was able to walk for an hour and a half - and then he was exhausted! Our insurance declined our request to extend Jason's number of physical therapy treatments, so we'll go just once a week for the next three weeks to stretch out our time there.
