Kevin Whalan's Musings and Memoirs. Kevin Whalan is a retired Australian journalist who ended his career as the News Ltd Bureau Chief in Wollongong . He was an editor of the Kiama Independent, and earlier was publisher and owner of the Canowindra Star. Much of his career was reporting on courts around Wollongong in New South Wales. The tour included the famous scene from the film JAWS where the Shark jumps out of the water, horrifying all of the spectators.
