The Falahola Family: March 2013
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 10. A Picnic at Tahoe. This week, Tevita pointed out to me that although we've lived in Nevada for nearly a year, we have never been to Lake Tahoe. On Saturday morning, we packed some lunch in a cooler, bundled up, and headed out for a day trip to Tahoe. We were very glad that we finally took the time to visit such a beautiful area. The Falahola Family: October 2013
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 14. The Birthday Boy and Our Week of Adventures. Tevita's birthday was on Saturday. We spent the day watching a family movie and shopping in Orland Park. We love going to Halloween stores to look at costumes and decorations. The celebration continued on Sunday. After church, we headed to the trails for a family walk. The leaves are just barely starting to change. Walking the trails made me remember how much I missed mid-west autumns! We'll see how much longer my sanity will hold. :).

The Falahola Family: Halloween
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2013/12/halloween.html
Monday, December 16. This was the first Halloween that Asena has been genuinely excited about. She changed her mind about what she would dress as almost on a daily basis. A fox. A rabbit. A spooky witch. A monster. A ladybug. On Halloween evening, Tevita and I took the girls trick-or-treating. It was a cold, wet night so we didn't stay out very long. Asena had so much fun going door-to-door. Thea was bundled up pretty well, but when it started raining, I took her inside while Tevita finished ...Until I s...

The Falahola Family: Spring Cleaning
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2014/06/spring-cleaning.html
Wednesday, June 11. March, April, May, and now half of June have flown by quickly! I've been doing some spring cleaning over the last few months, but as I looked at our poor little blog. I figured it could use a little spring updating! In March, we were able to spend some time in Ohio while Tevita attended a conference in Cleveland. His grandfather passed away and Tevita was fortunate to be able to attend the funeral services in Texas. We celebrated Easter in Boston - baskets and egg hunt included! May t...

The Falahola Family: December 2013
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 16. We spent this Thanksgiving in Texas. Tevita wanted to take a family roadtrip. I thought driving to Texas would be way too hard with a two-year-old and a three-month-old. Well, it turns out I was wrong. The girls were amazing the entire time. Minimum fussing, no temper tantrums, and only an hour or so of crying. Not bad at all! And Asena put his new walking skills to the test by having him follow her all around the house. It was exciting to do something new. We had stuffing, gravy...

The Falahola Family: Christmas Vacation
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2014/01/christmas-vacation.html
Monday, January 13. We spent Christmas in Ohio this year. My hometown has a lot of great community programs. One of them is visits from Santa. Parents drop off wrapped gifts at the fire station, then Santa delivers them on a firetruck. Awesome! The kids were so excited to see the firetruck. and even more so to see Santa! Phoebe and Asena had an especially great visit with Santa Claus. They even ventured out into the muddy yard to wave goodbye to him and get another look at the shiny red vehicle. Asena's ...

The Falahola Family: Asena Turns THREE!!!
http://thefalaholafamily.blogspot.com/2014/01/asena-turns-three.html
Saturday, January 18. While we were in Ohio, we celebrated Asena's third birthday. Asena started the day by feeding the ducks with Grandpa Mars. There was some fresh snow on the patio, so Asena insisted on helping Grandpa shovel it. Asena put the candles on her cupcake. and even though tradition is to add a candle for each year of your life (3! She really wanted five. Of them.
