Monday, June 27, 2011. So where do I go from there? The obvious solution is simply to pander to my audience. It's worked well for many authors (*coughStephanieMeyerscough*), but how do you maintain your integrity if you're just writing what other people want to read? And what, exactly to other people want to read? So stay tuned, Dear Reader, and together we'll set out to solve the Ultimate Mystery: can Ryan be funny on a semi-consistent basis? ONLY TIME WILL TELL. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, August 22, 2011. Review: Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Here is what I learned from Rise of the Planet of the Apes. If you have a super-smart ape, make sure it only ever meets nice people or it'll flip the fuck out and lead a giant ape revolt. Don't live next to James Franco and/or John Lithgow or your life will turn to shit and terrible things will always happen to you (seriously, that guy cannot catch a break). And his son, Draco Malfoy. Is absolutely beyond me. Couldn't they just sneak out of...

Tuesday, November 23, 2010. I've got a new Adventures in Alcohol. Post in the works (and when I say "in the works", I of course mean that I haven't started yet), but I'm having to do some investigative journalism about the night in question, because it was like two years ago and I don't actually remember a lot of it. It'll be up soon though, I hope. Speaking of journalism, however, I have an announcement to make! The new features are as follows:. Buzz vs. The News. Buzz vs. News Commenters. And so, witho...

Saturday, May 7, 2011. RECAP: The Amazing Race - "Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen (Switzerland)". Probably the most frustrating part of the second-last episode of this season of TAR. HISTORY. CONGRATULATIONS. BULLET POINTS. The episode didn't feature a lot of travelling; essentially teams stayed around the area of the Matterhorn (possibly the coolest mountain I've ever seen). They took helicopters up to the mountain and immediately started the Detour. I wish I could shoot a bow and arrow through my TV!

Undiscover This: Review: Horrible Bosses
http://totheundiscoveredcountry.blogspot.com/2011/07/review-horrible-bosses.html
Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Falls precisely into this category. Yes, the premise is nothing new, but the cast is fantastic, and they manage to keep things fresh for the entire running time. It's certainly not without its faults, but it managed to keep me laughing, which is all I really ask from a movie like this. Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day are Nick, Kurt, and Dale, three friends who hate their jobs and decide they need to kill their bosses. Think Strangers on a Train. Id be a little harsh...

Saturday, September 18, 2010. RECAP: Survivor - "Young at Heart". I have kind of a weird relationship with Survivor. Thursday, September 16, 2010. OK, OK, you kids settle down. I know I've been gone for a while, but Daddy's back now so get out of my goddamn liquor cabinet and gather round for some updates. Summer's over, and with it the worst of my period of laziness (hopefully). I want to get this blog swinging again (like your mom *boosh*. So here are some of my plans for the future:. And Assassin's Cr...
