My first born has now entered the zone of being closer to 10 than he is to being a baby. Wow. Noah loading up the "mine cart" like in the Temple of Doom. Friday, October 19, 2012. What a difference a YEAR makes. This morning, I had to use my leg muscles as I lifted up both of my babes to bring them downstairs to breakfast. All together, they weigh just under 41 pounds. Heavens! They giggle as I bounce them on my hips to the tune of their favorite songs. I do my best to keep the cheerios coming and spoon yogurt to them as they eat. I am elated, overwhelmed, not so exhausted now, completely overjoyed, and happy beyond description. Friday, June 7, 2013. I love that my children have very tender relationships with their great-grandparents. How amazing that they even know them! The last of my great-grandparents passed away the year that I was born, so I have no memories or connections with them other than that I can't WAIT to meet them after this life and to know them as family and as a part of who I am. As the oldest, Noah has been able to know and love 6. Of his great-grandparents. Lucky LUCKY boy. Seeing Xiomara with Grandma Stephie.

Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Christmas cookies are a long-standing tradition for us Stephenson-Smith's. Sweet buttercream frosting (my mom's recipe! Sprinkles, red and green sugar, red hots, and lots and lots of love. Santa usually gets the creme of the crop, hand picked by everyone and laid on a special plate. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Mike now has his AAS. For two years straight he drove to Omaha ITT. Tech(it's like driving to Temecula. For all you Cali's) 3 days a week after working full time, sometimes working 50-60 hrs a week. He got his degree in Visual Communication. And he is focusing. On Graphic Design. This is his passion, his one true love (other than me of course. He graduated with Highest Honors for his grades.note the yellow cords. Then as a big surprise. Mike and His Grandma. Way to go Mike!

Our annual family summer trip once again began at Somersault Festival, a family friendly affair close to where we live. We are relegated to the van with its precious awning to keep us dry.
