There has been a brass band in Keynsham since before the second world war. The original band was wound up in approximately 1975 but was reformed in 1980. The band currently consists of approximately 25 players with ages ranging from 16 to 60 , these players being drawn from many different. The band has a varied repertoire, which leans away from the traditional brass band sound of marches and suites in favour of a more contemporary arrangements.
