Kelly Mahalak: October 2013
http://kellymahalak.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
October 31, 2013. Random Thoughts: Day 31. I successfully wrote something, anything. In this space, every day this month. All 31 days of it. It wasn't always profound. It wasn't always pretty. But the truth if it is, there is something in the showing up. There is something beautiful and important and I feel good about just being here. And isn't that life? Is that not the way it works in our relationships? If I can't keep a promise to the Internet, then who can I keep a promise to? Thank you for listening...

Kelly Mahalak: September 2013
http://kellymahalak.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
September 30, 2013. I've been racking my brain for a while now on whether or not to join in on the 31 Days challenge. Over at The Nester. The gist is to write about the same thing for 31days straight. This kind of made me laugh, because simply blogging for 31 days straight will be a giant feat for me! I'm not exactly a regular poster over here! I thought that with Allume. Coming up and so much going on with homeschool, Hope Mommies. September 20, 2013. Five Minute Friday: She. No extreme editing; no worr...

Kelly Mahalak: January 2014
http://kellymahalak.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
January 13, 2014. If you've ever visited me here before, then you know about my son, Noah. My journey through my grief was first chronicled on a blog that I called "Noah's Ark", which later became "Finding Faith and Joy" before I eventually retired it. Now, those words remain as a private diary of my grief, my faith, and my son. Then, one Saturday morning, I open up a package from the mail and my heart stops as the tears start. Something new out of something old. Something precious. I really can't even b...

In fact, my outfits may get a little crazy this December. Because this isn't just any December. This is Dressember! We are wearing dresses all month long! That's right. 31 days. All dresses. Are in Southeast As...

Kelly Mahalak: July 2013
http://kellymahalak.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
July 29, 2013. God-sized Dreams (An Announcement). Holley Gerth - Dreamed Up in His Heart-Wall Art. It started as a blog post. God laid words on my heart, and I laid them onto paper. Really I typed them, but that doesn't sound as romantic. But as I wrote, I realized that there was so much more to say than any one blog post could accommodate. What I expected. Answers to prayer rarely are. Learn about my newest God-sized dream and how it might just bless you HERE. July 26, 2013. Five Minute Friday: Broken.

Kelly Mahalak: So?
http://kellymahalak.blogspot.com/2014/01/so.html
January 1, 2014. It looks like NOblogVEMBER turned into No-blog-December too. I'm just really bad at this whole blogging thing. But, so what? I'm not chasing after numbers or readers or followers or book deals. In fact, do you remember that book I said I was writing? It may or may not happen (and by that, I mean it won't). And so what? Writing a book isn't really my dream. Not that book at least. But so what if you had an idea and then changed your mind? I am meant to be loving the people around me with ...

Kelly Mahalak: Noah's Story
http://kellymahalak.blogspot.com/p/in-early-2010-i-learned-i-was-pregnant.html
In early 2010, I learned I was pregnant for a second time. It wasn't too long before we learned it was a son. He was to be named Noah. He had a slight umbilical hernia and we had elected to deliver by c-section for his safety. We cancelled the c-section and I was able to deliver him about 12 hours later. It was revealed at this point that he had gotten badly tangled in his cord, likely while I was sleeping the night before. Noah's Well in Uganda. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
