これは、K&Fのブログです。 ここをクリックすると. A few weeks ago I went to Kyoto to see a few of the places I had not been able to go to before. As a huge fan of Japan's temples, this time I visited Byōdō-in in Uji city and Daigoji in Fushimi ward. I also tried some of Uji's famous maccha products, tea and sweets. Delicious! After Byōdō-in I took the bus down north to see Daigo-ji, which is a World Heritage site and houses the oldest building in all of Kyoto- this impressive five story pagoda was built in 951!

It's located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This is the view from my house. It's a very peaceful place with a lot of wildlife such as kangaroos, possums, and a lot of birds. My favourite bird is the kookaburra. This is a photo of one that we would feed. There are 6 people in my family, two of them are Chinese!

I had a great time with my family. We went to a lot of different places. After being in Japan for almost 8 years, I finally made it to Kintaikyo in Iwakuni. I visited the momijidani paark before going up Mt Misen on the ropeway. We hiked to the summit of Mt Misen and then down the other side to Daishoin temple. In Canada, each winter schools and work will be cancelled for a few days because of weather. I instantly fell in love with the liveliness of the city and the enchanted atmosphere of Kyoto. Both are so different, yet very charismatic in their own way. During my travels, I ventured out to Arishiyama to see the majestic bamboo forest. In Osaka, I went to the famous Dotonbori St. where I ate lots and lots of Takoyaki; so good! Caterpillars, forests, and takoyaki.oh my!
