Our plan to head back down south to the beaches turned out to be a bit of a journey and meant my real bday was spent mainly in transit. we flew to bangkok airport and had a 6 our layover. Only part i wasn't thrilled with was the absailing, stepping off a platform to drop toward the ground goes against all my natural instincts. but the guy lowered us down and i managed to open my eyes to take in the views on the way down.
