Visual Basic

I've been a PC Basic programmer since LONG before there WAS a Visual Basic. I started programming professional in BASIC back in 1982 with GWBASIC, moved on to QuickBasic 3.0 (One of Microsoft's DOS Basic Compilers), went to Microsoft PDS 7.x, then to VB1 through VB6, and now in .NET (VB.NET and some C#) I have also programmed in the old Borland Turbo Basic. Trivia for you - What year did Phillipe Kahn say basic was dead? Some of you probably used to read John Murdoch's column in Databased Advisor magazine.

Morse code paddle modification. Carbide for the HSM. Morse code paddle modification. I've always been at least slightly interested in ham radio, in fact, back in college, I often hung out at the ham radio station. When 9/11 occured, I figured that one way to help out, (and to have my own emergency communications) was to get my Amateur Radio license (Call sign KG2V, ex KC2IXE), and join NYC ARES. Since that time, I became (and left) the position of Queens County ARES. Connectors. More Info HERE. DIY Conve...
