Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Final Digital Landscape. Manipulating color and size was a critical technique for the success of my landscape. I wanted to play around with the scale of the images to ensure depth and various perspectives. I also wanted to construct an alternative universe in which the viewer can get lost in and have the ability to compose their own thoughts and meanings behind the images. Experimented with various techniques in photography but especially loved working with black and white. He enjoyed the gradations between very dark and very light shades. In his most recent work he creates works about popular icons. He makes a mosaic with smaller images to construct the full image which entails a meaning or story. Ars Thanea is a Technological Artist. In all the reviews it discusses how he loves to use photoshop. He believes it has the ability to create a cleaner affect. In all of his images, the edges are so smooth, and the picture is clear. It is unbelievable how space is manipulated when manipulating the images. In both images, there is clear depth in the photo. I loved this image. I believe the artists name is “Russ” but the site i retrieved it from has it under ‘byroglyphics’. I lve this image because whoever the artist, was able to incorporate real paint ‘splattering’s’ in digital print making. The artist has manipulated the photo but it doesn’t necessarily feel so. Concept: For my Digiscape Project I want to focus on light and shadowing in my image. In one of Josef Sudeks images, in the cathedral he was able to capture the light streaming through the room. When i first saw this, I thought of corks. I found out after researching that he lived and works between Paris and Bangjoun. His sculptures and pieces are created from travel and finished with his own artist designs.
