Saturday, December 13, 2008. You gotta love her for trying. Madeline's first performance in front of a live audience was a complete success. If you consider the following:. 1 - she was one of five kids who actually showed up. The other parents apparently decided that 2 1/2 might be a little early for the pressure. 2 - she went willingly to her stage position (little red chair in the 2nd row) and stayed there for at least a minute. 4 - she stole the show with a little strip-tease. Sunday, October 19, 2008. As part of the "first haircut" package, they took a polaroid of Madeline after the cut was finished and stuffed some extra hair in a little plastic sleeve. Picture turned out pretty cute. :). Next, we went to celebrate at Chili's. Here's Madeline enjoying the milk she ordered all by herself by saying "MILK PWEEZ" about ten times louder than was probably necessary. Wednesday, October 15, 2008. I left her alone for two minutes. And this is what I found when I returned. I have to say, she did a pretty good job, although I might not have chosen orange if she had asked me. So, for those are interested, Madeline has a few slots open on Saturday if you're in need of a pedi. It's about time she started earning her keep around here! Two and a half years without a job.
