Mirror's Edge has just been released, the only good game from EA in 1 year. :P The game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen, some places are even photorealistic! GTA IV fully moddable! Maybe even ironic. An interesting thing is that the game is beeing sold earlier (damn Greed). So a lot of people are getting the game right now, but they can't play until december 2nd (the release date) because of DRM activation. And for everybody's amusement, I've managed to get my hands on some of GTA-IV's files. PS To see the file properly, save then to your pc and open with the notepad. Well, I finally bought new parts for my new PC. Among these parts there is a new ATI HD4870 512mb GDDR5 with the amazing clocks of 750mhz (core) and 900mhz (memory), as it is GDDR5 its like 4 times faster so the clock is equivalent to 3600mhz or 3,6ghz. The good news is that the chips are actually of 1ghz, so its in underclock! Easily I'll higher the clock to 1000mhz and get 4,0ghz! In the end of the post you will find 2 demos of x-fi, try it out! Here is a screencap of an animation I've made showing the TEC working:. I'll use the best fans for this project, they are from Ventisilva, here are the specs:. 80mm x 80mm x 40mm. They are very fast, unfortunately used, the new ones are very expensive. The air flow is higher then 120mm/12v fans. I got these used fans yesterday, I opened each one, cleaned, and used silicone grease to make they work better. I also bought another fan of 120mm with the same specs.
