Monday, September 29, 2008. Status Report - October. Does these status reports at her place when she is struggling with what to write. I have no idea if this idea originated with her as I have seen it on other blogs as well. Either way, I'm filching it, and it's not even Friday. My problem isn't so much not having anything to say, as having time to say it. Or at least to say it well. Assuming that's something I ever actually accomplish. So here goes,. To squeals of laughter as Brandon wrestles with the W...

Academomia: August 2015
http://academomia.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. Catching up. Which is what I do all semester long. Also, do NOT GET EXCITED, INTERNET. Casa Edwards is at CAPACITY. There was also face painting. Charley asked for "a bass.". Wes went for more of a Gene Simmons look. They did a little rock climbing. Dunked several members of the faculty in the dunking booth. And stayed full on grape snowcones until Ryan got there and we had dinner. Or the rest of us had dinner and Wes ate cookies and brownies and rice crispie treats. Saturday nig...

Academomia: February 2015

Friday, February 27, 2015. Not Safe For If You Are Eating Something. Side note, I bought some earphones and found a station on Pandora called "Power Workout". Life. Changed. I do love the Van Morrison Radio station I listen to all day, but a bunch seventies pot smoking music does little to motivate me through minutes 21-45 of olympic power walking. Dirty, NSFW rap and hip hop is JUST THE THING. I gave it a slightly more direct sniff for confirmation. TOTALLY PUKE. Thursday, February 26, 2015. James and M...

Academomia: July 2015
http://academomia.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. Blame it on the train. Get behind the red line! And "DON'T EAT THOSE OH MY GOD! And there's the little matter of no one liking having to spend time in a urine-scented oven just to go home. Ryan and I were happy enough with the situation, but the kids were having fantasies of being swept away in our roomy, private, air-conditioned minivan where strangers don't yell at you for looking at them. His little shoulders slumped and he groaned "Oh MANNNN! Meanwhile, I was trying to gather a...

http://academomia.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Kitchen kitchen kitchen KIIITTTCHHHEEENN. I may have mentioned that we are doing a bit of work in the kitchen, yes? Well I have good news, you're not going to have to keep hearing about it because WE HAVE COUNTERS. Counters were the final step in the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie: Home Improvement Edition" and they came on MONDAY. HAH. LEH. U. JAH. Here's how the story goes, if you are not familiar with it. If you want to eat in the dining room, you have to rip up the carpet.

Journey To The Middle: The Beginning of the End, NOT the end of the beginning
http://aconnelly.blogspot.com/2011/04/beginning-of-end-not-end-of-beginning.html
Journey To The Middle. Life or something like it! Thursday, April 14, 2011. The Beginning of the End, NOT the end of the beginning. It all started with putting some clothes on. Next were the pants. The pants I had loved so much because they fit perfectly. I haven't seen these pants since maybe December. As I slip them on thinking they'd glide on with ease, I find slight trouble getting over the hips though I did get them on-not without my pants looking like high waters. My plan of attack is to eat in mod...

http://bendyruggles.blogspot.com/2010/07/summer-reading-list-book-2-of-10.html
Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Summer Reading List Book 2 of 10- Relentless Review. I lied. The next book I chose to read was. I finished it on 7/5/2010. I did actually start reading the Thai cookbook already, but I am having a hard time finishing it. It's not the best instructional cookbook and I'm finding it difficult to get through just reading the recipes rather than cooking them. I find myself thinking as I read it, what's the point? Without giving too much away, the basic plot of. Posted by Jaden Paige.

The Life and Times of Bendy Ruggles: Summer Reading List Book 1 of 10- Pretty Dead Review
http://bendyruggles.blogspot.com/2010/06/summer-reading-list-book-1-of-10-pretty.html
Thursday, June 17, 2010. Summer Reading List Book 1 of 10- Pretty Dead Review. I finished Pretty Dead. By Francesca Lia Block. On 6/6/2010. I was looking forward to reading this book as Block has been one of my favorite authors for years. Her books Violet and Claire. And The Hanged Man. Would have the same depth of character and vibrant imagery that I had first come to expect from Block's work. As predicted, Pretty Dead. The narrative of the story does read much like poetry, which is typical Block. Enjoy...
