Friday, April 17, 2015. We went on a field trip to Quiet Valley Farm yesterday. The students dressed up for the 1800's, and got to experience what it was like to be in a one-room schoolhouse. We played lots of games including "Christmas Bump-It", "Ornament Matching", "Nativity Scavenger Hunt", "Christmas Words in a Word", and "All I Want for Christmas". Wednesday, August 27, 2014. I was put in charge of the classroom job chart this year. Of course, Pinterest was an inspiration and I saw a job chart called "Lend a Hand". So I figured out the jobs, and then yesterday I had each student trace their hand and write their name in the middle.
