Thursday, September 29, 2011. Photoshop: Colorize by Erasing Color. Colorize an Image by Erasing Layers. Another interesting way of "colorizing" an image is by pasting a black and white layer on top of the color layer and erasing the areas you want in color. Confusing? It will make sense after we try it. Here's a sample image to get started [of course you can use your own]:. Do a CTRL A. To "Select All") then CTRL C. Go to Image Mode Grayscale. To convert the image to grayscale ("black and white"). Pick ...

Thursday, December 15, 2011. First of all, create your overall scene (don't worry about making it underwater yet):. Change your plane into something natural which you would find under water (i.e. sand). Add a Terrain and erode it to look natural and weathered, then apply the proper texture. Add some items that you would find under water (i.e. anchor, fish, dolphin, etc.). Add a water plane and move it up above your scene to create a water surface. Posted by Robert Griffith. Friday, April 27, 2012. Flash: Virtual Paper Doll. Today we are going to be building "draggable" movie clips that will make a "Paper Doll" or "Mr. Potato Head" sort of thing. The ActionScript isn't that difficult, but it is very time-consuming so I am putting up a template that we can use to get started. If you can't find the right paper doll...

Advanced Projects in Computers: Welcome to Advanced Projects in Computer Technology
http://griffsclass4.blogspot.com/2011/08/welcome-to-advanced-projects-in.html
Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Welcome to Advanced Projects in Computer Technology. I truly believe in this classes and in the skills I teach. I often have students graduating from my courses and starting out in industry at more money than I make after years in the classroom. But even more important to me is to see students find something that they are truly passionate about. I look forward to working with all of you this year. Posted by Robert Griffith.
