Kevin ran down the stairs and told them we wanted them to have him. They came the next day. Tekoa jumped gladly into their car puppy smiling the whole time. As we walked back toward the house Kylea screamed out what I think both Kevin and I's hearts were screaming, "NOOOOOOOO! We all wept uncontrollably. We LOVED that dog! Wednesday, September 28, 2011. So- - we had a BABY! His name is Ezra David and he is absolutely the sweetest baby on the whole planet. He was born on August 3rd, and shares a birthday with his uncle! My labor was induced, which ironically I'd rather do it all natural again. But no worries, all went well. The doctor was able to get his head turned the right way. Saturday, May 26, 2012. Look at this kid. Doesn't he just make you smile? There is nothing that we don't adore about this little guy. His smile, his eyes. The cute way he says "da-da" I thought I'd post about a few current Ez-isms. He can shriek VERY loudly! One of his favorites is to crawl up to someone who is on the floor, shriek at them and grab their hair. We call it his screaming falcon. He especially loves to do it to Calvin. Cal thinks its hilarious. He is a happy kid. Very friendly and smiley.

Last Monday, 4th November, with a day off school for Divali, an Indian "Christmas" holiday, Elijah and I went on an amazing hike with his friend Adam and mama Mindy. Who needs a zoo when instead you can walk the Petai trail on the MacRitchie Reservoir? Really, these guys we're Elijah's first inkling that this would be a pretty cool hike! And so we're off.
