Not much to say but why not say it online. Saturday, June 27, 2015. The Quilted Crow had the last day of trading at the Old Church in New Town today. A group of friends from Launceston came down and I met them at the Church for a bit of a celebration/wake and retail therapy. It is sad to say goodbye to the building, it is such a lovely venue and has seen a few Gatherings. Wouldn't it be superb converted into a home! One of the beautiful stained glass windows. Some of the fabrics on sale. Oh, how sweet!

I do like making bags, great to use up some of the fabrics in my cupboards, drawers, high places, low places. I made these two last year and they are now swanning around in Melbourne somewhere with my sister-in-law and niece. The next few were made last year but I didn't blog them *shame*. Seems like a very long time since I have been seen in the neighbourhood so thought I should use some of my holidays in catching up. I have been having a very relaxing time at home, pottering in the garden and not much else. Not much to say but why not say it online. Friday, July 03, 2015. I finished binding this Thimbleblossom's Spools quilt and hung it on my sun room wall above the sewing machine. This Kaffe Fassett "Flower Garden" quilt binding was done, only a label and it can be off to its new home. It is a mixture of Paisley Jungle, Millefiore and Paperweight fabrics, shines like a jewel. The back of the quilt showing the quilting done by Patchworks Plus. Lovely boat houses at Cornelian Bay. A Gathering for Christmas.
