Kibbutz El-Shammah is a multi-department organisation addressing different areas of the community. Change Maker project addresses gang related issues. And aims to uplift the men of Roodewal and other previously disadvantaged areas of Worcester, to see them transformed and developed spiritually, emotionally and physically, to become contributors to society. Gloryland Creche provides formative education. A ministry focussing on high schools,. Ministry in Arts and Culture. Crafts and skill development.

Kibbutz El-Shammah offers many services to the community and receives services from volunteers. Vegetable garden providing affordable food to the community. Weekly food schemes for children and aged in conjunction with Roodewal Primary School. Affordable second hand clothing and other items. Local volunteers and volunteers from around the globe have the opportunity to serve the Roodewal Community through Kibbutz El-Shammah. We provide short term placements and long term placements up to nine months.

It's fun to be a volunteer. Been a volunteer is incredible! There exist some choosen ones around the world who have the opportunity of visiting Israel like this, so I decided to share mine :). I am from Guatemala, I had been a volunteer at Kibbutz Evron during three months, During this time I had the opportunity to visit Israel like a backpacking traveler . I meet lots of places.
