A Moms' Group for Everyone. Fun Things to Do. Raising bilingual kidsOr trying to! June 12, 2011. Bea (a fellow PATH member) reflects on being a native French speaker and raising bilingual children. Before writing this article, I asked Malik (my four-year-old son), How do you feel about speaking two languages, French and English, and being a bilingual kid. He said, I feel good about it! With a big smile. Several years after this incident , it seems to me that Malik has caught up in both languages. I c...

We’ll have our ann...

Miranda Makes a Blog: March 2010
http://mirandamakes.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Had a bird theme, I just had to make birdwatching bags for the big kids! Each messenger bag contains a birdwatching book, a small sketch book, a colored pencil and a little bag of birdseed. I was just a tiny bit worried that these wouldn't be cool. Enough for the big kids, but I was wrong! Each went through the book pointing out birds they've seen before and drawing birds in their sketchbooks! I was so happy! Monday, March 29, 2010. Come back to check them out! Happy Birthday, my...

Miranda Makes a Blog: December 2009
http://mirandamakes.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 21, 2009. Fiona experienced her first blizzard. White stuff! Elijah reveled in the sanctioned "fighting." Snowballs! Made just for throwing! Sheldon took long walks in the snow and cooked warm meals in the kitchen. As for me, I made an owl. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Inspired by this little knitted mushroom I bought at the Merry Mart, made by Amu Bleu. I made a matching square to add to my growing collection. That will be turned into baby blocks in time for Christmas. I'm Miranda. I ...
